But first, you need to create your Metricool account. You can opt for a Free or Premium account. This will depend on the brands you need to manage and the features that you need to have access to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-horizontal is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-1 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button boton-rosa\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/app.metricool.com\/register\" style=\"border-radius:10px\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\">CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT HERE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In the option <strong>Website\/Blog<\/strong> <strong>Connection<\/strong>, click the configuration button and a new window will pop up with the following options. It\u2019s that simple.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Metricool Plugin installs a Javascript code in the page footer and in all public pages. This way, it can register all the visits to your website and show them on Metricool\u2019s dashboard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can uninstall this from your blog at anytime by deactivating the plugin or removing Metricool\u2019s identification code in settings.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"JavaScript_Tag\"><\/span>JavaScript Tag<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Insert the JavaScript tracking code in the footer of the page, sidebar widget or main menu of your web. In a place where it replicates on all the pages in order to measure all your users interactions. This option is usually used for custom websites, Prestashop, Blogger, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tracking_Pixel\"><\/span>Tracking Pixel<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><em>\u26a0\ufe0f Less recommended option<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another option to integrate Metricool with webpages that don\u2019t allow you to insert a JavaScript code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, bear in mind that with this alternative, you won\u2019t obtain all the information. You can only monitor visits and demographic data. Apart from WordPress, Metricool can be integrated with other CMS platforms easily. Here you will find how to do it by using option B.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-integrate-metricool-with-wix\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Integrate_Metricool_with_Wix\"><\/span>Integrate Metricool with Wix<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Again, if you don&#8217;t have a WordPress or custom site, you can integrate your Wix website with Metricool. In your control panel, you can connect with your Wix session logged in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">**Remember to check that your site is published and has a domain connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>In Settings inside your control panel: click on <strong>Settings &gt; Custom Code.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>+Add custom code<\/strong> at the top right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paste the <strong>code snippet<\/strong> into the text box and then enter a name for the code. As a tip, it is recommended to make it easy to recognize.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Next, select an option to add the code to pages: <strong>all pages or specific pages.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose whether you want it in certain parts of the page such as the Head or the body at the beginning and at the end. Click Apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For this case, <strong>paste the Metricool code<\/strong> and select the option for both all pages and the head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-integrate-metricool-with-shopify\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Integrate_Metricool_with_Shopify\"><\/span>Integrate Metricool with Shopify<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to integrate the JavaScript code in Shopify, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2747\ufe0f Enter the Shopify control panel, go to <strong>Online Store<\/strong> and tap <strong>Themes<\/strong><em>.<\/em> Click the button Actions and select <strong>Edit code. &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select <em><strong>theme.liquid <\/strong><\/em>under the <strong>Layout folder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the right side, the code of the page will display. Scroll down to the page until you find the following tag: <strong>&lt;\/head&gt;&nbsp; and add the JavaScript code before the closing &lt;\/head&gt; tag.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure you save the changes and the integration is finalized.
